RenewalHub Commission Tracker provides Shopify merchants with sales-representative commission calculation and payout-recording tools.
Information processed
We process store identifiers, currency and timezone; order identifiers, dates, tags, discount codes, payment and test state; merchandise monetary values; merchant-configured reps, rates and rules; commission events and payout records. We do not request customer names, email addresses, phone numbers or physical addresses for the service. Order tags, codes and merchant-entered text are used only to provide attribution; avoid entering personal customer information into these fields.
Use and providers
Data is used to attribute eligible orders, calculate commission, synchronize refunds and edits, maintain records and exports, and operate the service securely. We do not sell data, profile customers for advertising or send customer marketing. Google Cloud hosts the app, database, task queue and secrets.
Payments and verification
The app does not send commission payments. Paid status is a merchant bookkeeping record. Merchants choose their reps, rates and rules and should review calculations before paying.
Retention and privacy requests
Data is retained while needed to provide the installed app. Uninstall disables processing and removes access sessions. When Shopify sends a shop-redaction request, the shop's app data is deleted. Customer-redaction requests remove identifying order details and links; non-identifying financial amounts may remain to preserve payout consistency. Merchants can download app-held order data in response to Shopify data requests. Webhook and task receipts expire after seven days; privacy-request records expire after thirty days. Operational logs have a short thirty-day retention and do not intentionally contain raw Shopify payloads or access tokens.
Security
We use encrypted network transport, access controls, Google Cloud secret management and server-side database access. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
